YMS Team Xtreme won the EPIC Tournament U14 Platinum bracket, winning three games to advance to the final, where they won in overtime, on penalty kicks.  Congratulations to Coach Kyle Pilgren and Team Xtreme!

The U11G Tsunami team were finalists at the EPIC tournament on May 11-12.  They went undefeated in their bracket, posting 2 shut out games and advanced to the finals against Vincent United with a final score of 1-2.

U11 Boys United Juniors who went undefeated at the Robert Urban tournament winning the top flight. Congratulations to all the boys and coaches!

The D’Anjolell award is presented to an outstanding Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer club or league. The award recognizes that organization’s contribution to the game and to the youth who play it. All aspects of the organization’s activities are evaluated. These activities include, but are not limited to, the development of both recreational and competitive players through the club’s or league’s dedicated administrators, creative coaching, tournament play, foreign travel, and support of the Olympic Development Program. With over 300 clubs within EPYSA, YMS is proud to be the recipient of this presigious award, and is the only club to win it twice. Thanks to all of our volunteers and staff for a job well done!

YMS U17 Pressure played 4 games at ESPN World Wide Sports Disney College Showcase.  The tournament is one of the top ranked tournaments in the country.  The Pressure qualified for the final with 2 wins and a tie in group play scoring 10 goals.  After having a player sent off in the first 5 minutes of the game they went up 1-0 and controlled much of the play before eventually losing 3-1.

Steve Neumann scored three goals for the Hoyas, including two in a 1:31 span to give Georgetown a 2-1 halftime lead. It was the first hat trick in the College Cup since 1993.  "You always dream about having games like that on big stages like this," Neumann said. "It’s an unbelievable feeling and something I’ll cherish the rest of my life."  Neumann made it 4-2 with 30 minutes left in regulation, but Maryland tied it up with 2 late goals and sent the game to OT.  Georgetown won on PK’s with Steve scoring his fourth goal of the game.  Georgetown face Indiana on Sunday in the final.

YMS Celtic Alum and Philadelphia Union player Zach Pfeffer has signed a year long loan deal with German First Division team TSG Hoffenheim 1899. YMS wishes Zach all the best with this next step in his career.
