Inhouse/Recreation( Peewees through Varsity Coed)

  • The In House Program involves between 500-800 children between the ages of three and eighteen years of age. The spring and fall programs each run through an eight week season.  Within the program, is an exciting Peewee  soccer program( must be 3 years old by the start date of that particular season to participate) for the youngest players .  All children are eligible to play and are guaranteed a minimum of half the game. All games have referees who, along with the coaches, are instructed in the rules of the game for the children’s safety and protection. Up to the ages of 10 all In House programs involve profession training as part of the program on a weekly basis. From the ages of U12 and up we have coed programs which are highly successful and mimic the school programs for middle schoolers in the area with our Junior Varsity Program. Our Varsity Program is also coed and is and has always been our most popular league.Registration for the spring program is done in as soon after the fall season concludes,  while the Fall registration opens  at the conclusion of the spring season. All registrations are done on line thru our website. Dates are announced in e-mails, and  via e- flyers thru the Pennsbury school district. The spring season begins in late March/ April and ends before schools recess for the year. The Fall season begins the weekend after labor day and ends by Thanksgiving.
All games are played in the Lower Makefield area using Lower Makefield Township’s Macclesfield Park and other township fields, or Pennsbury School District’s various sites. YMS works with both these fine organizations for the betterment of the youth of our community and for the advancement of the sport of soccer.

Registration for the Spring opens in November and runs thru March. Late fees apply. Click on the registration link to sign up.The sign ups for the Fall session begin in early June and run through July. Late fees  apply after certain dates .(check registration messages for dates.) Age groups fill up fast , and you will be wait listed as soon as the league limits are met. We operate on a first come , first serve basis.Wait listed players will only be allowed to play if an opening comes up. We have limited access to fields,so we must limit our team rosters to make each player get as much time as possible on the field and around the ball. Please do not request a certain team, time or coach. We have several hundred players to place between our travel , In house and adult leagues. We have a random draft and we cannot honor requests. We are a community service club and the purpose of random selection is to not ony make the teams fair, but to have all the children and adults in the community get to know each other by being placed on different teams with different coaches year in and year out. As always, we are looking for parent volunteers to help with all the teams. Don’t be shy, get out there with your kids, they will be proud to have their parent/parents as part of this life experience on the soccer field. You can check off the volunteer buttons on your application at any level.  Schedules and locations will be sent to you as soon as they are available by the coaches. Thanks for making YMS one of the biggest and best Youth Soccer organizations on the East Coast! Please email ymspremier@comcast.net with any questions.

Volunteer Coaches
Any Volunteer Coaches Over the Age of 17- Important Updates

Thank you so much for volunteering to coach your son's or daughter's YMS Inhouse/Recreational Team.

PA State Laws have changed and starting July 1, 2015 all volunteers (except for the one who have volunteered with us in the past) must now complete the following before being allowed to work with children. Volunteers that were with us last year now have until July 1, 2016 to complete the clearences, but I will still need a concussion certificate and Risk Management completed this year. Please turn in all certificates at one time to the club registrar before your first practice. If you have already completed any of these for another club, sport or school district, the clearences are portable and I will just need a copy. PA Classics will reimburse you for any costs below incurred. To do so, please turn in a copy of your receipts along with your approved certificates. Click here for more information regarding PA Child Protection Laws and Clearences from EPYSA.
