YMS Youth In House Program
Rules and Policies
The Spring Season begins each year between late March and early April.
Season cost is $100.00 per player. YMS supplies each team member with a shirt, shorts, and socks. Player is responsible for rubber soccer cleats, shin guards (worn inside the sock), a water bottle and proper size ball. U4 to U7 #3, U8 to U12 #4, U13 to U17 #5. No one can play without shin guards.
Zero tolerance for inappropriate, aggressive or unsportsmanlike conduct. YMS strongly enforces proper conduct for coaches, players, referees and parents. We are all volunteering to make this learning experience as enjoyable as possible. All coaches and volunteers must pass the Kidsafe program.
Field availability is posted prior to each season. Each director and coach receives a field permit stating which fields can be used for team practices. This info can also be accessed on our website under FIELD PERMITS. At YMS we strongly suggest that all teams act professionally and with the utmost courtesy when conflicts occur. NO TEAM, TRAVEL OR IN HOUSE, HAS JURISDICTION OVER A FIELD FOR PRACTICE, with the exception of designated training fields, which are determined and scheduled at the beginning of each season. Any scheduled and approved game does take precedent over a practice. Conflicts with a travel or intramural game must be worked out on the spot by securing another nearby field. All coaches must keep their game schedules and LMT park permits with them at all times. Please use common sense. If a problem can’t be squared away quickly and reasonably, please call your travel director or division director.
All teams must have a first aid pack and ice for each game and practice. At least one adult must be at each practice! Parents, please do not drop off players, especially younger players until you are sure they are with their team. YMS suggests that parents stay for practice and games. You will truly enjoy yourself and meet some of the finest people in the world; SOCCER PEOPLE.
Coaches, please be very precise with the players and parents as to the day, time and field for practice and games. It is good practice to give all players a team roster with home, work and cell phone numbers.
Have A Great Season!!
