YMS and Huntington Learning Center have partnered together for the Student Athlete at Yardley Makefield Soccer .
Huntington Learning Center of Langhorne is offering a summer scholarship, which provides 30 free hours of tutoring, to a lucky and eligible YMS student athlete. HLC is also offering a SAT Prep Scholarship to an eligible YMS high school student athlete.The primary purpose of YMS is to promote the physical, social, emotional and moral well-being of the athletes. All YMS athletes are expected to be a responsible and respectful person who is a student first and foremost. YMS has a rich tradition with exciting competitive teams, outstanding athletes, supportive parents, and knowledgeable coaches.Our athletes are held to the highest standards whether on the field,in the classroom, at school activities, in the community or in the athletic arena. Our athletes are expected to be leaders and role models who send an exemplary message to their peers.
Teamwork, commitment, determination, and discipline are the primary characteristics that are stressed at YMS, and Huntington Learning Center has partnered up with YMS by offering a special program designed to improve our student athletes grades and test scores by offering Reading Writing, Math, Study Skills, and SAT/ACT Prep courses. They are conveniently located near the Oxford Valley Mall at 920 Towncenter Drive, Suite I-15, Langhorne across from Sesame Place. Huntington Learning Center also became a YMS Division Sponsor for our 9 , 10 and11 year old players for the Spring Season.
